Alex's Work and Philosophy
Reflections
During this semester I have been required by all my classes to be in some form of group. It has shown me that there are infinite ways to complete any task. Everyone sees things differently and usually the best plan is a blend of everyone’s plan. Most of all groups have shown me how to perform in a group. I am what I would consider as a filler, I define this as a person who can accomplish a wide range of tasks from leader, facilitator, doer, coordinator, researcher, etc. This is because some people can't or won't fill these positions, so out of necessity I see what roles need to be filled and fill them. This is how a approach groups after this semester because when time is limited we don't have time to talk about roles we need to focus on the task.
All in all, this semester has helped me grow into a better peer/co-worker through patience and understanding. I believe that in the future I'll be able to be a more effective group member.
